Valley Aquatic Center
On July 2, 2009, the City of Yuma and Yuma Union High School District celebrated the grand opening of their new jointly funded aquatics center.

The new complex, to be used by both the school District and the community, includes a competition swimming/diving pool and a separate leisure pool. The 13-lane competition-size pool accommodates 1-and-3-meter diving and water polo. The leisure pool, primarily for community use, features a 121-foot slide and play tower. The large deck space has turf areas, shaded picnic areas and shaded grand stand seating for spectators.

Valley Aquatic Center was designed by TMP/Breckenridge, Joint Venture, with Klindt Breckenridge, Architect of Record.
